Craft Beer

Mostly Northern Monk last time I was in the Cluny. Had a lovely pastry sour in there.

The selection of beers in the Ship never appeals to me
Sours aren’t for me like. I’ll be stouting it up or might swerve onto an ipa if anything catches my eye.

Soopymarket warm up. Surprisingly decent. Coffee really comes through.

Had a Polly Donkin from Cullercoats Brewery, oatmeal stout. Was very nice. Had to proper smash it down though cos the band were on earlier than we thought.

I had a wander around burton-on-Trent yesterday and tried 3 different pale ales.

The nicest ale was called African Queen, brewed with South African hops.

The others were from Joules brewery and burton bridge brewery.

Might be SEB, just read that the family behind rehills sold up & yesterday was their last day.

Doesn't say what's happening with the new owners, but that its closed for a week...

Was in there for a couple last night. Had these two:

The pastry stout was nice but I wouldn't have been able to have another one because it was so sweet.

Can't really remember what else was on sorry as I'd had a few before I got there.
