Yann M'vila - target or not?

Can see a M'Villa wankathon building.
Will be a folly, waste of wages.

Propably will be as rarely does a returning player ever work, but even if it does go to shit it would be great to see him play for the lads again. 6 years younger than defoe so still has a couple of years left in him i reckon.

That's even different to the Defoe situation. Thanks for pointing out the laziness even further
Because of course pointing out someone hasn't played for 9mths, and won't be match fit is lazy and it will be at least a month before you'd see him play. And questioning why he's been without a club since last season is a bad question why?
Or any other club.
It's Defoe all over again a publicity stunt to try get the fans back onside.
It's clearly a PR exercise and bridge building on the part of those knackers after the mag game shambles.

Lazy in the comparison to Defoe. Which it clearly is.

If you can't see any similarities whatsoever that's your issue, they're certainly there nothing lazy about it.
I’m sorry but it is…..
Lazy Similarities
2 former players loved by the club past their 30s, would defiantly be crowd pleaser signings

Slight thought
DEFOE was 39
MVILLA is 33 (same age as Evans and many premier league and championship players)

A little thought
DEFOE in the 2 seasons prior he played 35 league games in total many as a sub
MVILLA in the equivalent time had played 62 games. Of which one he was named in the team of the season

Should be stickied this post.

Ah he spoke to clubs and no one took him on. Sounds promising.

Mate, we're not going to go out and buy a good, young experienced DCM so it's either the likes of M'Vila, some lad out of League 1/2 with little to no experince, or just waiting for Evans to get his boots back on.

M'Vila seems like the best option out of those to me and the club may not even be able to afford his wages yet.

Swerving the question I see.

Again speaking to clubs and no one took him on.
There’s a difference between being good enough for atletico Madrid and Sunderland like.

Nobody is saying he’s going to be the player he was ten year ago or however long it was. However he’s a better defensive midfielder than both ekwah and Neil and would allow them the freedom to play further forward

People are claiming we miss Corey evans ffs. Is Mvila not better than evans?

It’s mad this place at times like

Eric Cantona and Rio Ferdinand came back all guns blazing.

Toney likely will this weekend.

The problem is. Yann wont be coming so it doesn’t matter.

It's just pointing out this has the look of a PR exercise on the part of the club, rightly or wrongly.
