Yann M'vila - target or not?

Not denying any of that. Like I say I love him and would love for it to work out.

I just can see speakman not wanting to play him as it’ll hinder the development of his cash cows
It's for exactly this reason Speakman should sign him; it will greatly help the development of his cash cows. Those young'uns around M'Vila would play with a new found freedom and confidence with him dictating play. We might even stop conceding so many stupid goals from the edge of the 18 yard box too.

Been out on the piss all night and seen this when I was out. Nearly brought out a very early celebratory w**k in anticipation for it.

Fair to say the lass behind the bar didn't approve and kicked me out. Had a 5 mile walk home as well.

Still buzzing though 😂

Crying out for a bit of experience and class in centre midfield. If he’s fit and can still run a bit, Mvila with Neil and Ekwah infront of him is a fantastic 3 on paper isn’t it

Stick kieffer Moore upfront and promotions back on.

If we sign nobody, or some young lad we can develop. We might as well give up for the season. I’ll take it over league one but what a missed opportunity

100% this. It would free them whilst also teaching them how to retain the football

The obvious problem here imo is that it would mean leaving Jobe on the bench, and that can’t be allowed to happen can it? Because of Le Model £

No necessarily. It would allow him and/or Ekwah to play in their stronger position whilst also learning from one of the best to play as a ball retaining midfielder for us in my time watching us - Bracewell and Schwarz the others

I agree with this but think they want Ekwah, Neil and Jobe playing every minute of every game if possible. For le progression. Beale will probably agree with them whereas anyone else can see they’ll develop much better from playing alongside a couple of experienced ballers.

He's nowhere near quick enough or tricky enough to play there.
Aye ya probably right. However I don’t think he’s quick enough or strong enough to play upfront in the championship but that hasn’t stopped them trying that.
If he played off a big CF he might get on the end of some things and hassle defenders a bit more.

He’s an attacking midfielder ideally but he needs someone solid behind him imo.
