Mad how self defeating some people are on here. This club clearly gets under some players skin, ask our former Chairman and CF.
The lad has openly stated his willingness to come back, he's free and says it's no longer all about money so should be affordable. It appears he's looked after himself physically and has effectively issued a 'come and get me'. Our young team needs an experienced stabling influence in midfield. He would immediately be the best in position in the league and hugely improve those around him.
I don't think he'd go anywhere else in this division either.
Let's stop looking a gift horse in the mouth and go and get him now.

I’ll never forget the moment Kone left Yaya Toure in a heap on the floor in that City game!
We were unlucky to lose 0-1 but the immediate enhancement that Kone, Khazri and Kirchhoff brought to that team was scary.
Was gutted when it all went to shit the following summer!

I was just asking how he knows he'll instantly be the best defensive midfielder in the league when he's 33 now and hasn't played for months. Thought he might've seen him to make that conclusion, I mean he might be as slow as Leadbitter nowadays or Defoe the second time he came here.
