'Loves us'. Jesus man. Just coz he said that to a newspaper reporter. No of course I haven't been watching him. Has he actually kicked a ball this season? The level he is playing at isn't at out level and he is at the end of his career. What is nonsense about me saying he was pretty good for us? He was. Don't get carried away. He was no better than that.

Anyone actually seen him play in the 7,8 years since he played for us? He was good but I reckon he's rated more highly than his performances merited because of the whole airport fiasco and his desperation to be here.

Agreed. He had a good season, without pulling up trees. I think some of our fans get a bit carried away. Allardyce is another one that gets exaggerated. We battled relegation for most of the season and we lost 5 on the bounce around Xmas time. People quick to forget stuff like that. Bringing Yann back at 33, from a lower level of football. Nar.

Because the talk of him signing, Amad coming back and possibly Kieffer Moore means that the fans aren’t talking about how the club sold out to the mags. Simple as that really.

He must have dipped, but you would like to think he could still add a bit of metal in midfield and some experience to the young lads. Especially the French ones if there is still a language barrier.

I have family and friends that live in Athens and are big AEK fans. Its a bit like the Scottish league. A few pretty big clubs and a load of shit. But keep enjoying watching loads of those Romanians.
