I'll follow the lads in non league if I had to . That doesn't mean I'm a happy clapper or accept anything that's thrown my way . I've watched some utter shite down the years with chairman and managers who are far worse than we have now . You need a reality check and stop abusing other posters just because they don't share your opinion.

Ok so he took the piss, or someone in the club did - the wording doesn’t really matter.
The main thing is it was a monumental fuck up, and he’s now very aware of it.
Now he’s got to work very hard to get the fans back onside , and I’m more interested to see what he does next. Who knows, it might just work in our favour.

That's fair enough but on the field he has never lied to us . We all know how the model works and he and Speakman have never denied that this was a going to be a long process.

I was. Everyone takes the piss saying not to go away now. Went to Wigan last year won 4-1 but then went to Stoke this season and lost 2-1 😂

Yeah the model has worked well to this point, but it needs to be more flexible to allow to spend money on experienced players.

I agree . Even if it's on a short term basis , we must employ a centre forward who can do a similar job to Stewart did.

Anybody who questions any football clubs owners on their ambition to get into the Premier League is missing a very big point. Every football club owner in the English tier would love to be in the Premier League. Purely for the fact that the asset becomes a huge multiple of its current value overnight.

You might question how he wants to do it. Is he relaxed with a medium to long term approach that is far less risky than investing a hell of a lot of money into a project that could turn to shit very quickly?

Personally, I want to get promoted this year. Sensibly, do I think we should buy our way there when we’re progressing in a positive manner currently. Well I probably wouldn’t if it was my money.

There has never been a fan protest (even Blackpool), which has resulted in anything other than an ownership change at a time and price of the owners' choosing. Excepy Blackpool, where the owners were forced to sell only because they lost a court case. It's a pressure release valve for the fans, and little else.

The average football fan has no concept of corporate legal entities. The only way KLD gets any money out of Sunderland is by selling the shares for more thamn he paid for them. At present, the club can't legally pay a dividend as it soesn;t have any distributable reserves.

Yeah but every year we don’t get promoted we’ll end up losing players like Clarke who probably won’t wait around in the hope of playing in the Premier League with us.
