Yesterdays pre match Display…

Even though exactly that was vetoed by the club?
The club? The club? What exactly is ‘the club’? The players who will fcuk off at the drop of a hat? The ground that can be altered / knocked down / moved to another place at the whim of ‘those in charge’? The directors / ‘owners’ who can, like the players, come & go at the drop of a hat?
No none of them. the fans are ‘the club’. they’re the only constant thing in *any* ‘club’. And our fans detest our opponents yesterday. Not just that we knew it was possibly the only opportunity we had to fully express our absolute disgust at their owners and the blind-eye being paid by all in the game to sportswashing.
The people who u think are the club, can fcuk right off & when they get there fuck off some more.

It was tremendous.

Let's not kid ourselves that it will make any difference to the way he runs the club. He's seen record breaking League One average attendances, he's seen us at Wembley, he's seen us in the Championship playoffs, he's seen average attendances of over 40,000 in the Championship.

And he still gave Newcastle United the whole home end for a derby in return for them forfeiting gate receipts.

He has shown us all exactly who he is, even though some of our fans seem to prefer not to believe him.

Angry mate?

Angry mate?
Hangovers man…
Please explain.
There are certain posters on here who are apologists for anything the club ownership decides. Indeed the owners of this site pull / merge / parsnip anti-mag threads Their views are completely contradictory with the feelings of every fan I know in real life. So, as the saying goes, follow the money…

Great effort by everyone involved to sort the display and it was a hell of an atmosphere. Said on another thread, fans backed the team from start to finish and even after full time.

Lads fans saying how class it was.

Newcastle fans taking the piss with the font-type and how big the "W" was.

Got to love football rivalry

Most Sunderland fans want to just get behind the team though. Yes, some fans wanted anti-Saudi stuff but I think the correct message was put out, which was all about us. A lot of our fans protesting about Saudi's involvement in Newcastle had zero interest in Saudi beforehand. But now that Newcastle are hugely profiting from it, only now is it a huge issue with some Sunderland fans. And no, I'm not a mag before you start. I hate losing to them and yes I go to all the games etc.

Goosepimples …. Hairs on the back of the neck stuff.
If our owner can watch that and not feel the need to give back and put some serious funds into this club then he should sell up and leave. We are Crying out for someone with vision to take us forward.
Did that display really cost £17k though for a load of red and white carrier bags and some foil flags?!

Pretty sure a lot of that was recycled from a previous display(s) too.

Someone somewhere’s clicked a good few quid.

They were also taking aim at the silver flags.

Personally think the club should’ve been didobeyed and we should’ve had the original design.
