Spirit of 37 - display v Newcastle

We try to keep it all neat, which is difficult when there’s only a few people there to set up/tidy away and this is what the club treat the stock like.

They shifted it all to install a drainage pipe and let rainwater leak all over our stuff. We’ve been asking for storage for over a year. They don’t value us, just like they don’t value supporters.

They would if you did something that cost them thousands

Things like this should be all over social media and shared to the high heaven’s along with everything that’s gone on. Belittle the b***ards like they belittle us they’re an utter joke.

They dint have flags with SMB on -it’s not small time it’s a rivalry
As a fan of 60 years plus who like most live amongst them -the rivalry is important -I’ve two of my kids live in the heart of Newcastle -one has had to move because his season ticket is in the North Stand -he moves to -the NEC -where he can probably see a few he knows !
we are from the same areas -and talk about these games for months /weeks /years ..6 in a row ?…it’s the most important game to us all ( no matter the divide )
Agree what goes on a flag is up to others ( I love the Union Jack that I’m sure was at wembley 73 simply saying Sunderland AFc ) my all time favourite in the new ground -with Dronfield
Anyway hope you get my drift after too many sherbets -but hope it’s as uncomfortable an atmosphere as we can make it

All for an intimidating atmosphere on the day etc... but anti Newcastle banners ain't going to help towards that on the the day.

I was a teenager during the Keegan days and can recall lads in my street/school in Sunderland supporting the mags.

I thin sometimes people spend more time worrying about them than supporting the lads.

Née mags in Sunderland pre Keegan ( well I never knew any )
Certainly none in the 60s /70s /80
But we digress
Hope the atmosphere is intimidating as we can make it-if you want to like the opposition that’s your choice -they don’t like us

“We’ve still got our soul” for instance stuff like that, I can’t see the club pulling stuff like that, we’re only stating a fact anyway.
This whole thing though from the ticket fiasco to the display and barriers they seem to be putting up is just simply emphasising how much contempt they hold us fans in it’s almost as though we’re ran by Mags at the moment, it really is bizzare.

All about the money atm, kld and co aren’t gonna be putting bundles in so they’ll bend to wherever money is available, just look at the bcb debacle, was just a money grab pure and simple. From a business pov it was 100% correct from a club relation to the fans perspective it was a massive loss

I have no issue with mags working for the club if they are professional and do a good job.

However, We need to get the mags making these disgraceful decisions to the detriment of the the club and supporters out asap. They are a cancer in our club.
