It clearly is. Leicester have much better players and resources than us. They'll win the league. Southampton and Leeds also have much better players and resources than us. Ipswich are an exception not the rule, not many sides do what they do and I think they'll fall short anyway.

The league was never ever there for the taking for us.

Take a look at the shots we had against Huddersfield, Cardiff and Millwall and compare that to tonight. The problem started with the summer recruitment , Mowbray again achieved miracles getting us to 3 points outside the play offs with this squad.
 
I just don't understand what's going on.

Jobe is way off it but plays - why? Is there a clause in his contract?

Ba and Burstow get on, but no Rushyn.

They have gone for it big time but at the end of the day , if they fail in their gamble they will struggle with FFP . I can see Southampton taking over from them and then they are in a lottery with high stakes if they fail .

Well thanks for telling us exactly who's going to finish where. You'll find you aren't quoting facts as we've still a while to play and those players at Leeds and Southampton have them out of top two.

You may not like it but as we've seen many many times in football the favourite side doesn't always perform and we had a better base to chose from, until we ripped it up for this seasons offering.

Most on here thought Hemir was the next coming when he knocked a few goals in pre season but he's just not cut it . I personally was excited we got Burstow but again he has looked lost . I'm unsure why Rusyn doesn't get a chance but the other kid is just too raw .
Speakman clearly got the forwards wrong and there needs to be some ins and outs in January .

I haven't said anything is facts, I've given you my opinion and reasons why the league wasn't there for us. It seems your whole argument is 'but Ipswich'.
Tbh if you genuinely think the league was there for us I think you're delusional
