*~*~* Rotherham v Sunderland match thread *~*~*

He has consistent played horrendously for a while now. A few good plays tonight does not waive that.
No, he hasn't played "horrendously" at all, it's a total extreme opinion and simply not true. He was one of our better players tonight.

He had a poor first half against Coventry but was a different player in the second and did some good things. He didn't deserve to be jeered off.

They were doubling up on Clarke every time as well. As vital as he is for us, he needs to learn to pass the ball earlier/quicker in those situations as they rarely come off when he tries to take on 2 players in a confined area
Unfortunately he’s the only threat we have

I was pleased with the point. Rotherham played as well as they could and we were clueless for the most part. But I thought we did enough to merit the draw.

Can’t keep using amad as a back up excuse. We don’t have him end of. But we do have a team that played well with TM now it all looks like going down the pan
We weren't playing all that well under Mowbray in all honesty. Other than the run we had from the Southampton to the Sheffield Wednesday games we've been poor all season.

80 minutes poor, last 10 and injury time we did what we should of been doing the whole game - playing to win, a point gained better than not getting anything, should of won though against a very poor Rotherham side and a elbow happy thug Tom Eaves.
