Craft Beer

Some absolutely delightful west coast IPA’s and craft beers enjoyed in Oregon and Washington summer gone. They really know what they are doing 🍺
Aye, drank the last mild I had on Saturday.

Need to start stocking back up on Stormy Petrel. I did find a Luther one I didn’t realise I had like.

Work Chrimbo party, having a couple of warm ups watching the match.

My personal tastes but can’t see Cherry making the original better.

That’s why I’ll crack one of them bad boys open after.
Absolutely love the glass

Got a white design for stouts & black design for lighter beers. Then I get pissed off with owa lass if she tries to let someone wise use them

Got this from Vaux the other day. And the Durham Brewery Islay BA Imperious.

Had a think & might hold off on the drink until Chrimbo Eve. Have 3/4 top quality beverages to celebrate the eve of Jesus’ birth. Which I’m guessing will include these two.

Had a taster of it a couple of weeks ago, sweet but nice flavours, not very much ginger, and the ABV very well hidden as you'd expect from VC. Not sure I'd be keen on doing a full 440 mind

That looks superb. I'm going for a couple of good uns per evening throughout the festive period (which started yday as work done now) as I find I don't fully appreciate those that are at the back end of a slurp.

Yup. Think a 16% would a one tin job of an evening for me perhaps then moving onto a whisky.

I think I shall have this. It'll be shared with the missus as she's rather fond, having been given a sample the other day by the owner (that sounds a bit wrong/kinky)

Can’s a 330ml like. They’ve gave the can a different shape, the little tinkers.

Aye, there’s definite planning involved like. I’ve got a stash of old supermarket impys I move onto if I still want to go, but don’t want to risk doing a newer one that I might not appreciate. I’ll have to have a look but think I’ve got a good few “special ones” to go at.

Definitely no point in going down the abvs too far. Complete waste of a beer. Stick to a couple of bigguns.

If you’re going to do 7%/8%ers you need to be consistent with them.

It’s barmy expensive for 330ml, actually haven’t dropped the cash on it yet. I might have found my limit 😂

As he drops 120 quid in Rehills

Platform 2 is cracking like. Good little selection of beers and they keep them in excellent nick as well.

Had to look up which was which and been in there once but can't be arsed with the clart of Tynemouth etc, so rarely venture further than Central Newcastle. Ouseburn occasionally but even that is quite rare. Other than the Tyne Bar with the dog but that's usually just for one.
