The club stitches them up all the time and it's always them that get the brunt of it.

Agreed, i dont know why they bother sometimes. They grief they get is bang out of order. Although the reward and personal satisfaction they must get when they see all the hard work come to fruition must be a good. Hopefully the good outweighs the bad. It's a great thing they do for the wider fan base.

They think a full stadium display would cost pennies, have no clue on the print costs it’s high as fuck for loads at the minute

This. Initially I'm sure they said they had different ideas ranging from 15k to 45k or something. Which makes sense, more elaborate displays as more money is raised. It's incredibly common for funds raisers to start with a target and, when met, they effectively make a stretch target. If they set it at 45k from the start people might not bother donating because they think there's no chance they'll reach it. If they set it at 15k and never change it then no one will bother donating after 15k is reached because they won't see the point. What they're doing is absolutely standard and completely sensible. Honestly, some people just like to f***ing moan!
