I don’t think he is involved with the club in any capacity now, is he? It’s only very recently, they’ve started mentioning his name again when it’s his birthday etc…
 
Times change people move on, he is where he should be now, club legend welcomed back like an old friend but no longer part of the set up.
They will have someone in mind but come out with all the correct terminology and perfectly worded statements.
