Drawn at home to Mags in FA Cup

I don't understand the whole "late kick off = everyone will be pissed" argument. Surely if its an early ko, those who want to get pissed will just start drinking earlier anyway? I'm sure I remember reading a few years ago that a few of our fans went to the snooker/pool place that used to be near Jamesons for an all-nighter, because it was open 24 hours or something, before an early derby. A later ko/evening match would be class. People who want to get pissed, will be pissed, regardless of what time the match kicks off. I dare say there'll be some who've started already.
I'd rather a late kick off but just don't think it will happen. Later kick off just means more drinking time inherently. I don't think the police will allow it but would be happy to be proved wrong.

Stupid thing is a 1pm kick off still gives people 3 hours to drink which a lot will.

Loads will drink in the house , makes no difference and probably worse as people will not pace themselves and drink faster

It's just lazy policing

100%
Luton in may. People was legless but that's just because they'd all been out from miday
1pm ko doesn't mean people don't drink. They'll drink at home or spoons soon as they can

The police totally cocked up years ago when they turned folk against the free buses. Every year they got earlier and people just got sick.

Remember the year of the bubble trip fiasco? Wasn’t there some commitment from the police to actually consider all available kick off times going forward? That went well 🙄

I really really hope the club don't go charging £30+ and thinking of the payday.

Charge £20 and get as many in as possible.
Charge £50 and it will still sell out, interest in the game is huge, this will sell out within days of going on sale

Last season alone -

Fleetwood 2-1 QPR
Ipswich 4-1 Rotherham
Bournemouth 2-4 Burnley
Blackpool 4-1 Nottingham forest
Coventry 3-4 Wrexham
Sheff wed 2-1 Newcastle
Villa 1- 2 Stevenage

That's one year. 6 results that are equal to or more unlikely than us beating these fuckers. It's way way more possible than people are making out
Aye but that’s, in the main, because those ‘favourites’ didn’t take it seriously enough. No way the mags won’t be going full tilt at us

Well its going to be approx 65% Saudi win, 20% SAFC, 15% draw roughly

Some absolute fannies on this thread supporting us , might aswell hoy the towel in now and not turn up at all by the sounds of it , embarrassing!

Get at them and get the place bouncing , FTM

I'm sure they'll take it serious but they might not start their best 11, given the games they have either side and the fact they 'may' be able to beat us without them. That would give us a much better chance

I think clubs called out NP ahead of the Defoe game mate.

Regarding the buses: they actually worked pretty well at first. I can remember getting one for the second 2-1 game and it departed the SOL at 1pm

After that though, they made a total mess of things. I can remember one year when the buses left at 9.30 😂

I can also remember one year having to wait 2hrs to leave SJP
