221 days since a striker scored . . .

Farcical really.
Hopefully one of our strikers will come good in the long run but short term I'm not sure it was ever likely to work. We've 3 inexperienced strikers who have just 9 professional goals between them all in lower league football and another who, by our own ommission, needs time to adapt. I'm still confused as to whether Rusyn's best position is st.

Burstow certainly looks the most unlikely to me. Hemir looks almost uninterested but there are signs that he can play: just not in the first team, yet.
Current team break with pace. Hemir doesn’t look like he has any. Dissapointed in everything I’ve seen of him. Of the others Rusyn and Mayenda look OK but we don’t play for a CF. Mind you they’ve had enough chances to score….1.Rusyn particularly unlucky.

What if it’s the tactical system to blame for no strikers being able to score?
Think this is the elephant in the room here that nobody wants to address. Despite being our best player, Clarke never really looks likely to get the striker involved. Neither does Roberts for that matter. The inverted wingers system we're playing has produced some great goals at times, but the strikers always look isolated in it. Some will choose to believe that's because they're all just shite, because that's the easiest conclusion to draw that let's them single out scapegoats, but my thinking is that we just haven't found our best system yet. The worry for me then is that TM doesn't really seem interested in changing up how we play.
