Forthcoming gigs.

Have you seen the set list?
Just used the last one uploaded. Dublin recently. I’m assuming it’ll not change too much.

Ah, here already.

I fuckin' hate Billy Bragg.

Just putting that out there

Enjoy marra.
Wouldn’t say I’m a big fan like. Friday night, my mate was getting tickets, I’ve not seen him before. More of a box ticker than owt.

If I was choosing a gig suited to tastes, I’d have been at the Charlatans tomorrow instead of Bragg next week, but I’ve seen them about 10 times already.

Ticket purchased for tonight so off I go to the Skinny Lister show (once again) which will be my seventeenth time. Sheffield a week on Sunday will be number eighteen.

see if you can convince @tunstallhill it's worth a dodge down.

i saw them at green man earlier this year. really good. not the same quirky pop they once were, a deeper more mature sound. it's crazy really given they've been around so long, yet still look about 19. maybe i'm just getting old.

i'm still thinking about going like just depends on a few things tomorrow. i had a listen to them, sound canny. not my normal type of music but sound like they'll be good live

Madness next Saturday at the arena, never seen them before but me mates been to see them a few times and had a blast. Feel like they've been apart of my life since I was a kid singing it must be love or our house so looking forward to ticking them off my list.

Never understand why people want to see a set list before they go. For me, knowing the liklihood of each song before they're played takes away the excitememt and spontaneity that makes live music.

Most of the bands I see, I don’t have great knowledge of their back catalogue. Billy Bragg being a prime example. Alabama3 last week. Don’t think there’ll be many disagree that it’s a lot more enjoyable listening to a set of songs you’re familiar with as opposed to hearing stuff for the first time.

I dint study the set list & memorise it. However it can come in handy if you’re looking for a good chance to nip for a piss or pint.

If Oasis/Beatles/Pogues/Clash were to reform tomorrow I wouldn’t look at the set list, I know them all inside out anyway.

Be grim in Newcastle that night as Mags have an 8pm ko against Man U.

Saw then in Newcastle last year, was a great gig. I'll be there tomorrow hoping for the same.

Good to read, I'm going tomorrow. Bought the tickets a few months back when I was a little pissed. I'm quite looking forward to it now

Definitely -- I'm off to see him next week -- Only really listened to Talking with the Taxman -- and a few other "best of" -- so got my hands on the Roaring 40 album..most of which make up the set list next week . . Be having a few listens before I go to make it more enjoyable

What format/platform have you got your ticket on ?
I'm at the NCH in a few days and I've just had an email from ticketmaster telling me to download an o2 app and i have to use that, but the reviews on the app store all say its shite and doesn't work.
Got it in on Ticketmaster app mate
He's great Vanian like. He was too low in the mix when I last saw them though.

Really?? Interesting.
Why interesting ?

I thought the Firestation gig was the James/Scabies/Sensible/Vanian line-up??? I wasn't there like (left it too late for a ticket after umming n 'arrin) so happy to be corrected.

This is being peddled as the first time the '80s lineup have played since 1989.

I've not seen them with Scabies so I've got mesell a ticket. Just need to work out who to gan with now as the lads aren't interested.
The original line up was this time last year..i went to the London shows..seen them at Newcastle NX earlier this year..absolutely fantastic..should be great with Rat back on drums..he’s a helluva drummer..Captain Sensible has been posting on social media that him..Vanian and Rat have reached out to Brian James to say they’d love to do some more original line up shows..hope so.

I see lots of bands. Some I only know a few songs. I put Spotify playlist together to listen to the ones I don’t know.it is usually stuck on random so I don’t just hear the first three songs.
