ODI World Cup

Enjoyable if you’re an Aussie or if you want Indians to lose. For a neutral, it’s another one-sided affair. A fitting end to a shit tournament that has been defined by huge margins of victory and sorely lacking in excitement
Yeah overall bigger picture is extremely disappointing from an England perspective and severe lack of close games,

There’s nobody can persuade me otherwise that this proves Australia are not the best team in the tournament

When it mattered, they absolutely thrashed them
I think it’s more than fair to say up until the final India were the best side and playing the best cricket in the tournament.

However in the final massive credit must go to Australia who have outplayed them when it mattered and when the pressure was on against the odds and partisan crowd.

Like you said earlier Head innings brilliant

It’s fair imo to say both as Ponting just said on commentary India been superb in the tournament.

Possible and fair to give both sides credit Aussies for their performance in the final and India for their performances before it

Against who? No pressure group games

If they’d had knock out cricket earlier They would have been eliminated earlier, they can’t handle the pressure

It’s a flaw in the format but there was no pressure on any of the games as they were always going through

Can’t agree

Would like both team to lose. But in the absence of that possibility, watching this crowd have their hearts stamped on has been superb. Inject it straight into my eyeballs.
