£160 for a full season at old codgers rate is amazing value. We paid £80 per day for seats at the Old Trafford test in the temporary stand.

They used to do an u19 option, I think it was, for £95. When I was in the age bracket I snapped their hands off. When I was paying £70 for the t20 season ticket anyway getting everything else for just £25 was a bargain. It meant I was more likely to make the effort to travel from Hartlepool on public transport and see more cricket. Unfortunately I had to become an adult and start working properly and paying bills!

If I was in a better position with work/money now that £220 would be very tempting! When you compare it to the price of football season tickets and what you get for that price the Durham CCC membership is a steal.

Does anyone know any of the details about the reciprocal deals? I’ve recently retired but live outside of the NE. I’m thinking about getting membership but not sure if I would be able to get to enough games to get value. Being able to attend games for free at other counties would probably tip the deal if the ones near me are covered

The club rarely mention this but found this which doesn't mention Durham.

Durham members are permitted to use the members’ facilities at clubs they are visiting. Except where they aren’t (Worcester in 2022) or Bristol (where they told me they had no additional facilities for members, but did). Still have to pay for entry though.

Missing out on good money which was a bit of a shock
I'd be turning 60 during the life of a five year Gold Membership if I got it out this season. First two seasons I would be an 'adult', the last three, a 'senior'. I'd be happy to pay the 'full adult' price for the membership and forego any reduction for being a 'Senior'.

But no, I agree, get the money in the bank DCCC.

Surely you have got it worked out by now. I have been telling you for long enough on here that counties are not interested in the old fashioned county member. All about t20 and selling tickets for that and play as much of that form of the game as they can cram in.

Yup. Whilst things on the field are great at the moment and that has brought folk back together, off the field the club are still very amateurish and I hope to see improvements soon as they're long overdue. The club said they were getting a membership manager who I believe lasted a few weeks in post, since then heard nothing and there was no consultation with members about this decision and no justification communicated by the club about it which goes back to my view the club is still very amateurish off the field. Money is money and for me handing over around £900 for 5 years cricket surely would make good financial sense for the club to get that £900 in the bank?
