Forthcoming gigs.

Winding down the gigs now for the end of the year, got Martin McAloon, The Lottery Winners and Briana Corrigan all in Manchester coming up and then that’s it til 2024.

I had planned to go to it then had a more important event on the same time
. contemplated bc camplight and personal trainer last week instead but decided ive spent too much recently
I’ve been to many many gigs this year. So many decent young acts around and seen some oldies. Blur at City Hall being best of the oldies. It gets me out with mates on a miserable Tuesday night. I love it.

My remaining gigs this year are:

Skinny Lister x2
Ian McNabb
Billy Bragg
Ian Prowse and Amsterdam

I’m also hoping to get a late ticket for The Lathums in Wigan via Twickets.

Possibly Dreadzone
Billy Bragg
Possibly the Young’uns

That the Liverpool gig. Was going to go for my birthday if Sunderland were away. We’re not.

It is the Liverpool gig. I haven’t been to the Prowsey Christmas shenanigans in the past as it has clashed with TMTCH Christmas bash in London which I’ve been to a few times but that haven’t arranged anything this year.

Same as that. This is the kit, the orielles and tom a smith left... Unless @GTG drags us off the straight and narra as per

The choice is yours.....

David Tattersall (Wave Pictures) Group - Cumberland Arms
Field Music - Cluny
Robert Plant - Sage
This Is The Kit - Sage
Blue Rose Code - Cluny2
Withered Hand/Darren Hayman - Pop Recs
Billy Bragg - Sage
James Yorkston & Nina Persson - Cumberland Arms
Eliza Carthy & Jon Boden - Fire Station

Plenty of room for a few more in December, mind.

Roisin Murphy at the City Hall in Feb looks tempting.
Northern Kin looking great next June.
Bruce in May.

Getting my full goth on this week. Flying back to the UK for the Death Cult / (early) Cult in London next Monday and going to the Sisters of Mercy in Newcastle on Saturday while we're over

One of my mates was there and sent me some vids from the show. Looked impressive. He's been trying to get me into them for 7-8 years (the singer's mam was his kid's school teacher and she had been pushing them, I think, like a "your dad like's music, tell him about my son's band"). He gave me their first couple of albums but I never really got around to giving them a listen.
Give them both listen.....decent stuff. As live bands both were really impressive.
They're supporting green day in June. Worth heading to the venue a bit earlier to see them you reckon?
100%....
Me and the Mrs were joking saying we'd get tickets then bugger off after the support... all joking apart that'll be a great day and we'll end up going probably
Got Pete Tong's Ibiza Classic at the Brighton Center 29th....went last year and it was brilliant...bang up for it.

It's only a couple of hours on the train

They're only touring London and Manchester this time too.
Anar, but ive got a family & budgets to adhere to. It’s doable, but I’m guessing anything from £300-£500 all in with a night away from home.
Embrace tonight boiler shop
Kubix played their two best songs first & were canny boring after. Completely lost me. Was a fan back in the day anarl

My brother was there also and same …… he’s been trying to get me into them for years and I’ve just not bothered 😳
