Suppose there is a couple of ways to look at it, would we have preferred to have a team over the last few years been really consistent but fall at final hurdle.

Or a team both 50 over and 20 over world champions at the same time, bearing in mind virtually won fuck all for the years and years before apart from one T20 world cup.

So as much as this tournament could not have been more of a disaster, 5/6 years ago would have more than taken these last few years.
