In the West Indies/USA, June 4-30, 20 teams.

Thowt I'd get a thread started for anyone who's travelling etc. US venues are in Dallas, Fort Lauder dale & New York.

Teams that have already qualified

USA, West Indies, Australia, England, India, Netherlands, New Zealand, Pakistan, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Ireland, Scotland, Papua New Guinea, Canada, Nepal, Oman.

Plus two African teams from their qualifiers later this month (22nd-30th).

20 teams and only a 3 week tournament, why couldn't they have done similar with the 50 over game with half the numbers?

African qualifiers start today. Any 2 from Kenya, Namibia, Nigeria, Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda, and Zimbabwe. Matches available for free on the ICC TV app.

Rwanda are fairly new to cricket being a former French colony rather than British. They have a cracking cricket ground...

Kenya have just beaten Rwanda and Uganda have just beaten Tanzania. Zim v Namibia is on live at 13:50

Talking of Kenya, who remembers them getting to the semis in 03? I know it was a mess of a tournament with some teams refusing to go to Zimbabwe but it was an unbelievable achievement.
