Russell Martin has Ross Stewart as his main target **Transfer confirmed **

Whether you like it or not, you're not the big club that you think you are. I've been following comments since Stewart signed for you and as a set of fans, you generally come across as arrogant and I've never known a club to suffer delusions of grandeur as much as you guys do. Believe it or not, you don't have a God given right to win every game. Also, who in their right mind would think you could punt Stewart for £40 million when he's nearing the end of his contract and coming back from a serious injury, that's just utterly laughable 🤣

Anyhow, my club (Ross County), will no doubt put the £1.2 million coming our way to good use so cheers for that 👍

Bye Ross 👋

Part of me thinks Stewart will struggle to get a game. A bit like his first half season with us where Wyke always got the nod. With Armstrong and Adams, gambling 10mil on another injured striker doesn’t add up when their defense and keeper had clear room for improvement on today’s showing.
They’d be twice the team if they’d bought Patterson for 20million. The way they played today they won’t create many chances
Dear me, of all the fan bases it’s ours you claim think that they should win every game
It’s an incredible claim. Most on here can’t agree on Fuck all. Yet to a fan we all expect to win every game. 😂 probably the most realistic fans around seeing every win as a bonus

Has Stewart even posted a thanks to Sunderland and the fans?

I genuinely believe there is more to this than meets the eye. Our team today had that extra bit fire in them and I believe they felt let down by Ross and his comments added the extra bit fuel to the already burning fire!

Jack Clark certainly proved why he’s the top earner at the club!

Stewart is as thick as a castle wall = wouldn't be rushing to align oneself too closely - btw it's sayonara ya dense twat.

Imagine admitting to supporting Ross county

Martin was shell shocked. Didn't know what to say as to where it went wrong in the post match interview. 😁

Bearing in mind he saw us play all last season and beat us twice you'd think he'd know you can't play slow sideways football against us with a high line and let us transition straight into 1v1's. Think his arrogance led to him thinking they were just going to dominate the ball and we'd have no answer. We're the best counter attacking side in the league ffs.

As he has nearly been out for 12 months, you are probably looking at Xmas before he is fully match fit as well

Amazed we got 10m for him especially as Southampton have 2 decent forwards at Championship level. Surely just wait until January and get him on a free pre contract
Is he training yet?

In and out with the first team but non-contact

if he is still non contact in training then he must be a bit away from playing...

Southampton have always used their academy system incredibly well. Stewart may prove to be an excellent signing for them, but it does smack slightly of tearing everything up in order to chase promotion.
