Old trafford is a shit tipNo Old Trafford or Anfield either?
I know but there’s lots of seats inside of itOld trafford is a shit tip
How come the Lionesses played at the SoL then?
I'm guessing, maybe even could be proved factually incorrect, but...Couldn’t tell ya
Stadium criteria isn't just based upon the number of seats. Citys ground is far superior in every other aspect.I know but there’s lots of seats inside of it
They display taste and discernment. How come the Lionesses played at the SoL then?
Sid James's was booked for a stoning. How come the Lionesses played at the SoL then?
Or Arsenals stadium, whatever it’s called now!?No Old Trafford or Anfield either?
The We'll Fly You Back 10,000 Years In Time Stadium.Or Arsenals stadium, whatever it’s called now!?
Yeh accomodation in n around sunderland is pitiful in comparison.I don’t think it’s just the matter of the stadium but the whole surrounding in general. Then factor in it’s evident the stadiums selected are spread out to cover many parts of the country. Then it’s really down to us and them up the Rd up here who gets the pick and if we are all honest from a neutral point of view Newcastle has way more to offer. The capacity is bigger, the surrounding area has a lot more on offer and for those wanting accommodation etc then it’s a no brainer. Yes is a sickener, but if we are being honest we can’t really complain. And no I’m not a mag before anyone suggests so.
In comparison to our neighbours if you do some research will see as sarcastic as you are trying to be, you are indeed incorrect. Go on have a look and you will see. I am right by the wayYeh accomodation in n around sunderland is pitiful in comparison.
Holiday inn, hilton, roker n seaburn(x2) hotel, 2 x prem in and ermmmm.
Not a lot of beds that.
Mate i use digs allover the country and occasionally sunderland, occasionally newcastle. In comparison to our neighbours if you do some research will see as sarcastic as you are trying to be, you are indeed incorrect. Go on have a look and you will see. I am right by the way

If you think about something like this though its likely 2 away teams so 48,000 folk needing a bed for the night or travel onwards. Unfortunately lightyears behind them on both factors.I think we've seen from the concerts that event organisers arent arsed about how nice the surrounding areas are. Its probably just capacity.

Say a thousand beds at a push thats 47,000 people needing travel.A short metro ride away from plenty hotels..and we're on the back up list so if it was that big a problem we wouldnt be on that list.
Well done for using “stadiums” instead of that awful other word.
This news is months old.
Villas numbers are based on an expansion they intend to complete before then.
Evertons numbers are based on them finishing their new stadium.
Old Trafford was not on the list as their owners could not commit to if any redevelopment would occurs and/or if it would be completed in time.
Anfield isn't on the list cos it's pitch size does not meet UEFA requirements.
Etc etc.
There is a back up list of stadiums too in case something unplanned occurs. If I recall correctly the SoL was originally on that list.
If the Anfield pitch doesn't meet UEFA requirements his come they play their UEFA competitions there? This news is months old.
