* Can anybody explain why they mispronounce the town as "Middles-burra" in the chant? Or why it's shortened to Burra? It's Middlesbrough** FFS! ("By far the greatest team in football...." What a quaint and unique chant 😉).

Imagine pronouncing Edinburgh as Edin-burra, or Scarborough as Scar-burra 🙄.

And yes... Yesterday hurt, just like any home defeat does. It felt identical to a defeat to Leicester or Stoke. Yet another bog standard home loss 🤕.

You know , things we are known around the country ( world ?) for , great crowds and the Montgomery moment. Embedded In the national psyche if you like
