Boro thread

Yes mate.
I moved here years ago.
Still got a ST at Boro.
I don’t mean this sarcastically but loads of people all over the place and still support their team.
Really hate Newcastle as I live with their ‘big one’ attitude day in day out.
Oh well that’s alright then. What are you doing on our forum ?
I read yours no safc post on it so why are you here ?
Are you gonna call me a bully when you take the piss and I respond ?

Simple answer is I enjoy it.
Tend to post the odd thing after Boro and you have played.
That’s it.

Yep thats true and i wish i had. Bet europe was a great run too

I have nowt against boro tbh,,find it funny how big their fans treat this game though

Suppose thats what happens when ya have no rivals
You might not but I'd imagine those fans singing Mowbrays red n white army we hate Boro might.

Unless you sing that about every club you face?

Tell you what, if you are that fussed, see tbat search button at the top? Stick my name in it and see what I’ve posted over the years. Guarantee it’s all Boro related.

It's a big game to a lot of Boro fans, it's a big game to some Sunderland fans but not others.

Can guarantee if the roles had been reversed some of your fans would have been buzzing just the same.

Oh well , just about over that result.
Have to go into work tomorrow down there , take the abuse. Had some already but responded with the 12 v 10 factor and will say it was a shame the ref ruined a potentially great game between 2 evenly matched teams.
On the match itself , it’s been done to death but we were short in midfield , which led them to control the opening 15 for me. 15 minutes even , as we settled and started to find Clarke and Roberts which pushed back Jones and Greenwood.
I thought we were in control and ready to score from 30th minute onwards.

Oh for one of Evans or Ekwah to have been available.

I do not consider the 2nd half to have taken place due to the horrific decision to give a yellow for a swear word , and not to punish the Coburn yellow. 2nd half should have been us 11 v their 10. But it wasn’t , so I will not recognise it and if anyone asks I will just say 0 0 was the result when the official match finished.

I still feel we have the better team when all fit. I accept they had McGree and Howson out , but that is nowt compared to
Ekwah, Evans, Pritchard Cirkin plus others. On reflection the only thing he could have done is Onien into midfield from the off , with Triantis or Seelt at centre back from the off ? Ba or Burstow on the bench
Then we could have controlled the midfield from the get go , as we did in January. We conceded the midfield , gave them a foothold to allow the key man Hackney and Jones 20 yards further up the pitch than January.

Either way , it’s done now. Me and Hank and the rest of the Teesside lads will take the abuse until maybe we go to the Riverside and hand out a masterclass in February.

Hope I have a happier birthday than yesterday next time we play them

Can’t be blaming the ref for getting beat, Neil on a yellow should have known better then Mogga surrenders the midfield in the second half inviting them to run at our back four was never gonna be a happy ending.
