Boro thread

Surely even the most idiot fan can see today was ruined by the ref, whatever side you support. Shame the player he sent off was our only CM so then we were fucked. Boro played the hand they were dealt fair play but just what good have been a competitive game ruined by a shite ref, shame.
 

Thought we were good in first half. Red card obviously changed game.

Carrick has proved people wrong, saying he had been found out and didn't have a plan B etc. We aren't going to go on the run we did last season but we can at least look forward to the rest of the season.

Sunderland will win a lot of games, probably a good shout for the play offs but as with Mowbrays teams they do have that soft centre.

Fair assessment but after DN goes off we have no midfielders to bring on we brought a forward on to play in the middle and we didn’t have any fullbacks to bring on either. Ref ruined a good game.

Give over ffs. Basically foaming over one result long season and obviously the ref affected the game but that’s football you collapsed in the 2nd half ten men or not 4-0 still shows we were the better team. And first half we were, you have the stronger squad on paper but it’s a long season

The game was ruined by Dan Neil. You’re not helping him or SAFC by saying or posting anything else.

I agree with everything you say apart from yous being the better team in the first half. It was 50/50 at best. What I’m tying to do is let one of your 26,000 fans known Middlesbrough are a small time club from Yorkshire.

Don't think many people would watch that first half and say Sunderland were in control. Being in control is what we were doing in the second half. First half was very different.

Shouting at a ref has been part of the game for ever, it's an emotional game. You should be allowed to vent with words, actions are obviously different. Saying 'it's a f***ing foul' is a joke of a yellow card.
