*~*~* Sunderland v Watford match thread *~*~*

People really going overboard with it being a poor half of football. Its been fine, we scored the goal against a team that was trying to be difficult to breakdown. Ba was involved in 3-4 decent chances, Roberts and clarke likewise. Huggins played really well too. Home games are going to be more of a challenge for us unless we have a striker that is threatening or teams are more open at attacking us.
Agree with this. Ba got clear down their left and cut back for Bellingham who should have got a shot away with a clear sight at goal. Roberts broke into the box and almost managed a one two and would have been clear away.

It’s not been us at our best, but we’ve created some good moments

Burstow looks overawed to me, he's got what it takes, he's just shit frightened to use it, I think If he scores, he'll keep scoring.
I think you're right. He needs a goal and I'm sure he is better than what we are seeing tonight because he's a waste of a shirt tonight.

Neil has been class again. Flashes of brilliance from Jobe, Clarke and Roberts.

Burstow and Ba anonymous

I love Neil, think he's gone a whole other level this season but think he's been sloppy tonight, still half the game to go though, still a class player

Ba has done well tonight. Doesn't deserve to be hooked. He works hard now in covering the full back as well now.
He’s looked pretty threatening for me. Seems he’s an easy target.

I’d still bring him off for someone more direct as they look slow as fuck at the back
