Unfortunately no ham and peasepudding sandwiches were had this week but will be back for the boro game 😎

Not sure about pre match but post match the food was put on separate tables.

Better than I expected tbh, hazy and quite fruity, quite full flavoured for 5.1%. Just my thing, and would definitely buy again.

As you know I like the more modern, hop forward, types of beer, ideally on keg, but after an initial doubt on the first mouthful it went down well.

You had the White Rat in the Mortal Hound?
 
Was in last night, almost turned round and left the smell in the entrance area was so bad but persevered and it wasn't as bad inside. One of the lasses in the group wanted to go elsewhere but i was served by then.

Beer was ok, the Vaux is far better in Vaux itself though. Singer was excellent however, but the people I was with weren't impressed with the place. Staff letting people vape at the bar as well, is this a regular thing?

I'll be honest I've tried hard to like it but I'll not hurry back.

In Mortal Hound? I've been once and didn't like it. It doesn't know what it wants to be, a place with music blasting or a band on and no room but instead did it all so stood in the corridor and then left after about minutes.
