You may be right, but that statement to sums up the difference between Boro and Sunderland supporters (in the main) Sunderland fans seem to be glass half full kind of guys Boro ones glass half empty. I'm just towing the party line and thinking we are doomed.

My personal opinion bud is that Carrick isn’t a particularly good manager. From a very strong position, he cocked up last season and he’s struggled so far this.

Lose against Sheff Wed and I suspect he will be very close to getting sacked.

You’ll be fine though. As I said earlier, come May you will be top half. If you have play off aspirations though, you need to start picking up points
 
I enjoy my Sunday mornings after we win. Nice not to be a fan to be overly bitter about a team we didn't even play and make bitter comments about

I remember last season some really insightful posters saw that you had the makings of a good team and weren’t surprised by the march up the table

On the one hand, it’s harder to see this year with the way you’re playing

On the other, it must give hope that a turnaround is possible. It’s very early in the season yet
