No it’s nothing to do with being able to afford it, it’s just that it’s over priced. It’s 500k or 33% higher in price than the next highest priced house in the whole of Sunderland . So what’s it offering for that difference as a starting point? By the way the one up for 1.5m blows it out of the water on both actual house and location.
Think Fletch is probably right, it’s probably about a million quid house where it is, at best.

Often wondered about that house. Looks tacky as fuck, but could be good. Wonder what the outside space actually feels like. You’ve got the views if the cricket club, but might not feel right on a cliff face.
