£3.5m was mentioned (or it could have even been €3.5m).

Either way if he continues to improve and mature as he is it’s going to take an awful lot more than that to tempt the club to sell.
 
I love listening to it every night when I work away from home, keeps me in the loop. Marco should be kicked into touch, Martin smith or Danny Collins are much better. Marco does the show in a private room at radio York he can’t even be arsed to travel to the north east. 😂

If that was the region of offers, I'm not surprised we turned it down.

Thing is, if we don't go up, it'll be because they're not performing at the level we're hoping they're capable of, which means that less of them will be an attractive option for teams above our level.
I think that, with the wealth of talent we have, we should be there or there abouts and if we are there, we'll be able to offer improved contacts to most.
 
The stick Marco gets is way OTT imo. Some of the other pundits just agree with all the callers, even if two in a row say completely opposite things! Darren Williams, for example, and bless him, but he says “you know” a ridiculous amount of times.

Brady is always an interesting listen, but I like how Marco is prepared to challenge people and disagree with them.

And so what if he has affection for Derby. He played as much for them as us and their fans hold him in high esteem also.

And why should he drive from York to Newcastle every night for a two hour show, when he can patch in remotely perfectly fine?!

Hope you are right about the improved contracts. What do you think we would have done with Stewart if he was fit and well and banging goals in ?do you think we would have offered him the terms he got at Southampton?
