I’m not really sure what you mean. It’s taken them 6 months and until a few days ago they were all set to bring him back. And as for the statements Arnold has put out this week 😬
 

Just reading that Forest have just signed Argentina World Cup winner Gonzalo Montiel.

He’s currently being investigated for rape/sexual assault back in 2019. Whilst we obviously have no idea how true it is, it’s quite amazing that they’d choose to buy someone under investigation, with some sources saying charged, in the current environment

Most people will also be aware of the other premier league player (who we can’t name), who has seemingly been bailed a number of times

Just spent the past few minutes reading the comments on some regurgitated Facebook article about Saka choosing England instead of Nigeria, anyway it's littered with recent comments from Africans who keep mentioning Greenwood, saying Saka needs to look at how we (English) are treating Greenwood after he's made a 'mistake' as a reason Saka should have chosen Nigeria 🤣. Not one comment either there's quite a few

Well, nobody saw that coming.

Everyone deserves a second chance and I imagine he has learnt his lesson. The last year or so will have we been quite a punishment and he will have had to time to reflect.

I hope both him and his wife are happy in the future.

It's a difficult one isn't it. Part of me thinks, he's been through it, trashed reputation, lost a chunk of his career, not convicted of anything and should have that second chance. But then I think, if it was my club, I'd be disgusted if he came here and wouldn't want him anywhere near.

Rubiales will get a season ticket.

Seriously though, it will be interesting to see how he is received and how he gets on.

100% that's been the strategy all along and it'll work. He'll be club captain one day and inevitably the whole episode will be shamefully forgotten about.

He won't have even experienced a flicker of remorse. The only emotions will have been frustration and loads of self pity.

I’m surprised Fergie hasn’t come out and said what a great lad Greenwood is. He was more than happy to tell the court Giggs was a stand up fella.

He’s an excellent player, certainly better the Rashford imo, they are terrified of letting him go fully - a lesser player would’ve been binned off ages ago.

Years ago maybe, but if the David Goodwillie saga has taught us anything is that people nowadays never forget a thing like that. Unless the person signs for Clyde :p
