Russell Martin has Ross Stewart as his main target **Transfer confirmed **

It's an absolute disaster if it falls through.

Kills our chances with several incomings and we are stuck with a player who has been unavailable for 37 of our last 50 games, who will leave for nothing in the summer/a significantly reduced fee in January and is unlikely to now feature again for ages.

£10m looks like it would have been fantastic business (as predicted).

No doubt @MurtonMark and @wicketkeeper will tell us that regardless of this deal falling through, if the board don't press ahead with spending the planned Stewart money, that we have no ambition etc

Well done lads. That multi-year contract on whatever he wants would have been money well spent, wouldn't it?

If it falls through and he wants a new contract it has to absolutely benefit us. Something like 2 years and he can try to go again for £15m
