There is like, we would have one of the best strikers in the league playing for us.

Playing devils advocate; what if the deal fell through. He stays and we realise our xG stats with actual goals and are top of the league by Christmas. Knowing he could be a premier league player with us in the summer he then signs a new deal and we all live happily ever after.

Weirder things have happened, Leicester won the Premier League.

why are you assuming he will return as he was? and do you really believe he would be fully motivated and committed to the cause?, no chance imo.

he then goes in jauary for less coin than we now expect. no win at all.

Yes that's the page I found. There's only the 1 RT which I don't think proves much. He seems to spend his time laughing at NUFC and liking SAFC related posts.

Should be careful what we say here. But I suspect he's a SAFC fan, but one who isn't the most savvy in the modern world, perhaps

I think he needs to go as well now

I just dont think he will come back the same player, its been too long and too severe and injury for it to not play on his mind
