Youre right , imagine a deadline day signing , hes 27, seriously injured , last year of contract , only limited championship experience and wants top money , hes £12m all in . We'd be screaming Will Grigg !
Or 24 year old, decent championship experience , fit, and a decent scoring record in a worse team with less service for £7m , plus a decent Ukrainian hot shot.

Who currently on the books fits that criteria by the way? Because if we don’t replace Stewart and Amad adequately, particularly their goals return, I don’t see anyone currently in the squad that are stepping up their development to fill the gap this season.
 
I don't really give a fu*k tbh. Been a Sunderland fan long enough to never get carried away or be a deluded wank*r like them up the road. We're in Sunderland for fu*k sake. Getting 40k+ in the door is a miracle and that alone makes me proud. Fu*k the rest and fu*k who we sell/sign.
