Get your point and was thinking that myself, but I do think he's developed into a much better player while he's been here as well. If we want someone whos going to be straight in as our star man I think we'll do well to find a snip like that again.

He’s proved his value to us in all areas time and time again prior to his injury. He will not be replaced easily regardless of what money’s available.

I'd agree if it was for a couple of million or if he had more time left on his deal, but £8m is too much to gamble on IMO.

When you look at Piroe who went for £12m despite having the same length of time left on his deal, being 3 years younger than Stewart and a track record of almost 100 games in this division versus Stewart's 13, £8m seems very fair and in line with the market rate.

I think this is the case with his contract/injury situation on top. I would be demanding the 8 million up top and none of them add on if they get promoted, or he's top scorer etc.
 
Get him out asap. For as much as possible

of course this will lead to a panic buy but as it stands, it couldnt be much worse than the centre forward options that are currently available

Stewart though yes injured, has shown no concern for signing for safc for over 12 months

well thats the issue now....if he was to be sold..sell him at the start of the indow..if he is as good as people say we would have got enough money to but gyorkes or prioe...but we cant get those now...

I hope they have things moving now. Literally no point in selling him if we dont bring a replacement in (and that includes one aswel as rusyn)

Come on man you can’t be including wages and medical bills into it 😂 I haven’t seen anything even saying Ross county have a sell on either. He is allegedly on 3k a week so he has probably only earned about 500k with us anyway.
