No way Mowbray has quoted figures. He has said of we offered him what he wanted it would break the wage structure. I've heard rumours Stewart want 30k+ a week. They're just rumours though and could also be way off.

That's not true like, I highly doubt Ballard took a new contract on 15k, who is Mowbs discussing personal finances with and which players were happy to chat their wage, lastly who told you Ross is after 20k?
 
Be a shitter if we sell him and he fires them to promotion. If he does go that'll be another one we will need in on top of the Ukrainian lad or we will be back to square one. Gonna be gutted to see the lad go, scoring that second goal I've not been so emotional over a Sunderland goal in a very long time. Good player is rossco.

He said he’s offered the cap. He’s also said others are on the very same cap.

Player contract values can be calculated very easily from Amortisation figures within the club accounts and tax return figures from PLCs used by players to siphon payments.

I’m sure you can fill in the gaps

First of all, moan. I go watch football to watch good players and win games, not win the spreadsheet league.

My second (genuine) question, did Brighton and/ or Brentford sell players to teams in the same league as them?! Seems counter intuitive to sell to another team we're apparently competing with.

However, I am realistic, if it's truly the only option we have to improve the squad I suppose we'll have to take it. We need a DM and striker, and badly. If this puts us in a better position then so be it.

You don't have to explain to me the mental market we are in, I've been ridiculed for suggesting the squad we have is worth over £100 million. This was probably 6 months ago. Since then, our squad worth has probably went up £50 million by simply existing.

Insane if we sell him. We could find ourselves in serious trouble if the Ukrainian lad struggles to adapt.

He's worth what someone is willing to pay for him. If he's such a bargain, someone else will gazump Southampton.

He's worth nothing at the end of the season if he won't accept our contract.

well brentford sold players regualrly but usually to teams higher up..
they sold ollie watkins to villa when they got to the championship play offs but didnt win..then went out and bought ivan toney from league one..
