Boro thread

Over achieved last season and reliant on loan players. Carrick's tactics poor, will be difficult for them unless they bring in a few quality players before the window closes. I think Gibson will panic buy, who knows if it'll work. They are a bit jammy.

They have played ok in most games to be fair but confidence can soon drain ( look at the lack of the usual suspects on here tonight-their cockiness has gone )and no matter how unlucky you think you are -points make prizes .
They have a squad full of average league one players they are in for a long disappointing season

Too true. Apparently the four goals conceded today were "tragic and all so different as well". Will have to watch the highlights later as I don't have livescore.

They will have another decent season but they will regret not trying harder against Coventry on the last game of last season. They had a huge chance of promotion but fucked it up.

Given our injuries, I suspect they would have beaten us in the play offs and then got past Luton

We will soon see if Michael Carrick has the heart for a relegation fight, I’m sure he didn’t have to go through one as a player

Had a feeling that the Carrick bubble was about to burst when they hadn’t properly replaced there loan signings from last season.

Interesting week for them.
