Boro thread

Middlesbrough don’t register on any of their radas when it comes to NE football. A bit like the NE too 😂
What?
The North east doesn't register when it comes to North east football?

Things is though , whether we, you or anyone else 'registers' on other people's radars or not....it's irrelevant.
It doesn't give you points or trophies.

Doesn't bother me in the slightest what other teams fans think (or don't think) of us.

Certainly not a thing to try to 'point score' over.

Thank fuck that particular pox on humanity hasn't reached Devon yet.
Long may that continue please.🤮🤮🤮

They are rotten. Why ruin chicken in breadcrumbs (Actually wouldn't be a bad takeaway with chips and a dip) by hoying two inches thick of a load of tasteless, processed, shitey cheese

Doesn't even look nice, even when you're pissed. Hideous.

Not really, I'd say we're slightly receding with a thin pony tail that you'd see an ageing irish folk singer carry off. We have an appointment with a hair transplant specialist.

Boro on the other hand are wearing an ill-fitting wig, which is often mistaken for a guinea pig.
I'd describe us a Bill Nighy type, still very evident, stylish if slightly less than it could be.

Boro.... No question, they're a definite George Roper from George and Mildred.
Gone to seed completely, very poor comb over and dyed ginger , the type you'd cross the road in heavy traffic just to avoid.

Wish we could play Middlesbrough every week 😁

We nearly have recently. After our last game we had played them 4 times in our last 7 games. 2 wins 2 draws. 5 goals for 1 against.

Used to love our pre match footy related quizzes in the pub, where things like this and "which league club plays it's home games nearest to the River Mersey" and "which league ground is at the highest altitude" used to feature
Funny thing is, I almost used the Merseyside situation in that big thread arguing about what is Wearside the other day. But I couldn't be bothered to argue with loads of people, because I agreed with the Skunk as it happens 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮

A river 'side' is the tidal stretch, or the estuary.

Wearside: Sunderland and arguably Washington.

Wear Valley: Chester le Street, Durham and maybe up to Bishop.

Weardale: Anywhere upstream of Bishop Auckland.

So yes, I was going to ask on poster, so is Stockport on 'Merseyside'? But like I say, I couldn't be bothered with the complications it would have caused for days 🤣🤣
