We ultimately failed to get promoted with those players, so it might not be such a disaster that they won't be here this season.

Our new striker Lath had a very good game yesterday. Encouraging signs.

We performed well yesterday and should have won the game.

Silvera, one of the new signings missed a couple of sitters late on. He's raw but a real livewire and could develop into an excellent player.
 
Said in the summer that Middlesbrough needed to get off to a strong start otherwise things might turn a bit rotten, Carrick had a immediate impact and then the last ten games they struggled, haven’t turned that corner yet and have lost a lot of there first team from last year (Giles, Archer, Akpom)

The problem is the recruitment team, no one expects us to be challenging for promotion. Not carricks fault imo, yes he’s in a bad rut but he’s lost his 5 best players by a mile and take them out and you get what’s at best a top half championship team

Sword always falls on the managers head unfortunately, might not be his fault in terms of the in’s and outs but the owners will be seeing it as he should be getting better results/performances.

I do like Carrick mind.

Teeside ‘parmos’ are crap. I’m sorry that the thing you’re most famous for is second to every other parmo.
