It’ll be very significant on that site too, absolute madness to drop £1m on a ‘house’ there.
I hate a lot of the old fashioned,middle of nowhere, stuff that many people on here drool over,but I understand they appeal to a lot of people. That on the other hand has me lost for words. A million. For a caravan.

Mate of mine has a ‘lodge’ on that site. It’s a decent, clad caravan. Access to a slip and dock on Windermere, club house, swimming pool. No private outside space. Pays £12k pa site fees.

Thought so. I stayed in one for a few days last week near Pooley Bridge on a site with no facilities. The 2 bedroom we had was beautiful mind - we rented but you can buy for £225k and the fees were £7.5k
If I had a million spare for a holiday home I’d buy bricks and mortar somewhere - cannot believe anyone would buy at that price.

I reckon with £60k spent on it, would be decent. Being attached to a restaurant is the only negative I can see.
