Bid rejected for Clarke

20m’s plus dele on loan for a full season is a good shout as we know Clarke wants prem life now. Anyone who questions that he doesn’t want prem life now is bonkers.
Everton NEED to get rid of Ali because of the extra 10m Spurs would get, for appearances, if he plays again for Everton...That is why he buggered off to Turkey last season. We need a player like Ali like the plague.. Rodwell showed us that.

Everton can't afford them either, so something has to give one way or another.
Depends how much Ali wants to play really.

Doesn't matter if Everton can afford him or not, he'll be on an absolute fortune. Whatever we could offer wouldn't be worth their time or his.

there's a difference between not for sale and not actively looking to sell. i doubt we're trying to peddle him but if someone comes in with circa £20m we would more than likely sell. I'm surprised no one has tbh.

It’s bollocks really because if someone meets the club’s valuation he’ll be sold.

Burnley should’ve been told he wasn’t for sale for peanuts though.
Same for every player in the land. Offer enough and a club will sell. It's not someone peculiar to Sunderland. You are right. If a player is in demand the club should be asking for more than they think he's worth.

Burnley chairman's daughter put this out  Burnley are embarrassing

If we were to lose Jack Clark to Burnley, and then they announced it with a video like this, I think I would have to riot.

Full on Geordie; funerals, besheets, burning effigies the lot
