you'd think they could play till 7 at least. the 6 hours "normal" play would be up at 6 so an extra hour should get at least 12-13 overs backlog cleared even at this snails pace.

should be fines per session. 25 or less overs = fine (allowing for wickets and reviews), and you'd still be 12 overs short then play to 7 to get them in.
