Anderson finished?

Jimmy has never been a flat wicket (no reverse swing) bowler. Stokes, his mate, has hung him out to dry. I would take him to India
Anderson in India on spin heavy pitches ?

he would bowl four overs then be in the field for hours

can’t see him going to India

Slow and turgid pitches, hard to get away low 80pmh bowlers and he is very good at reverse swing
It worked that way last time. He bowled well and was our most effective performer with the ball. As I said earlier I’d be picking him there on his current form and pace before I’d be picking him here.

Hard to tell based on one series on flat wickets against a side he always struggles against
It’s his age 41 it can only go downhill from here and does he need another series on flat spinning wickets in the outbacks of India ?

ill be amazed if he goes

Thing is they are playing at out grounds and not where jimmy has had success before

he’s done his duty and deserves a retirement

Australia play him better than India. English pitches don't offer reverse swing
These grounds though , I don’t think England have played many games at them before

I’m an Anderson fan but it’s clear that his time is coming to the end

I just can’t see him going to India

My worry is he still has had perfect conditions to bowl in, as well as the benefit of the dukes ball, but just hasn't looked overly threatening with it. Has yet to get an opener out with it either this series. He's been economical, but today he seemed all over the place at times

Has he taken a wicket with the new ball in this series? Looks like a series too far although he did earn his place on merit going into the series.
May have taken a one wicket with the second new ball last game when he got Cummins out
Certainly hasn't in the 1st spell of the innings

5 test series, could see him playing 2 tests, maybe 3 if his workload isnt too heavy in those tests.
Not sure i'd take Broad to india mind, similar reason to the Pakistan series
