CC : Yorkshire vs Durham

Excellent fightback this from our lads, never ever write them off!
Hadn't really appreciated yorkies side is massively unbalanced.

Effectively 4 batsman in Lyth, Bean, Rickleton and Tattersal and 7 bowlers of which some can bat better than others.

Thompson going after it like Coad was a few overs ago. Trying to get as many runs as they can quickly before the new ball.

Revis and Hill are what you'd class as batting all-rounders rather than bowlers TBF. By the same logic Lyth's off-spin could qualify him as a batting all rounder.

Hill bowling average is 24 and his batting 29. He might be better suited at the bowling like.

Revis has been first change on their bowling recently. Even if his batting has been stronger than his bowling in terms of average.

I was in the same boat as you really, Doidgey mentioned it on comms earlier following a few Twitter moans I think!

I’m hoping this means it’s a 600 par pitch and they’ve batted badly due to being a team of bowlers

Interesting to note, the tide tends to make batting harder at Scarbados, seeing how the low tide for today is over an hour away (and the next high tide not til 23:00 tonight) added to the lovely sunshine, we should enjoy some decent batting conditions.

Masood playing for Pakistan and Malan rested(no doubt cos of the Hundred).

So Hill and Revis both batting 2 places higher

Albeit Malan has plenty of England games in September-December.

340 all out.

Looking forward to seeing how we go on this.
Well on the plus side if Thompson is depositing this many into the stands.

I'd back out batsman to enjoy batting too.

It’s a small ground and generally quick scoring - so our lads should be relishing the task.

Always get someone swinging and going for it. 340 all out I'd have taken that earlier this morning. We are in a good position where we need to just collect bonus points for promotion.

Just keep plodding on basically.
