Bid rejected for Clarke

Im taking about football on a football forum

What the fuck has me in real life got to do with anything
Wow there cowboy.

You've just admitted that YOU in real life is not the views of YOU on a football forum.

Speaks volumes.

4 bids of between £9m and £10m. They’re not going to go much higher.

It strikes me as a deal they'd like to do, but isn't a massive priority. They paid daft amounts for their first choices, as pointed out several times.

I'd be pointing that out to Clarke. They just signed their starting left winger for twice the price they're offering for him. Does he really want to go and be a sparingly used understudy again?

I’ve said all summer I think it’s Harte briefing people on it. The timing of the interview that came immediately after the first rejected bid when he said ‘everyone has their price’ or word to that effect, was too much of a coincidence and I believed then Harte knew how much it would take. Now seems that amount may well have been 10 million.

I’ve still always thought he will be here this season though as I didn’t think anyone would bid £15 + which is what a I thought it would take to get him, and I’m led to believe he’s happy enough here. Obviously a massive offer (everyone has their price ringing again) would give him food for thought though.

I’d have been livid if we accepted 10 million, mind. Seems odd we would even suggest that to him but I do think we won’t be kernts about stopping players go, especially if we want to keep signing younger players as bringing them in and allowing them to go when they get decent offers works in our favour when getting them here in the first place.

I really hope Nixon isn't right about us willing to accept £15m. Who would we get witht hat money to replace 20-odd goals form out-wide?
Moreover, who of that standard would come?

If we sell Clarke and are without Amad and probably Stewart from last season, that's 50-odd direct goal contributions and I reckon we'd struggle for top-half unless the recruitment is absolutely unbelievablsc
Scary thought mind how do we replace that ffs...

Proper drama queen you are like.

Not really mate
You must be new to football or just a bit of a dummy if you’re unable to understand that a club’s current situation is dictated by its past few years.

28th year following Sunderland
He's a Newcastle fan pretending to be a Sunderland fan on a Sunderland message board, that alone speaks volumes 😂

Except you know im not a fan of Newcastle but cant think of anything else to say

Happy to prove you wrong
