Bid rejected for Clarke

Downie suddenly interested in Sunderland again?
Blokes a complete tit.
This
I wouldn’t be shocked to see a transfer request sooner rather than later
I would be shocked. Last move to a Prem club went horribly until we took a chance on the lad, and to throw in a transfer request this early in his career is extremely short sighted. Seems to enjoy it here anarl. If a fee is agreed between the clubs he'll go, but i dont see him throwing his toys out the pram either.

Things change when money gets serious, and bids keep coming in.

Personally, I think he'll be away. Just shite how it's so close to the start of the season.
I reckon we should give Burnley a deadline of this Saturday to meet our demands, or we will not accept anything until early January - and inform Clarke and his agent of this too.

If they’ve got the money to get him, they’ll pay it now. Instead of going on like absolute tits and waiting close to the deadline.

if the journo is saying he wants away someone should make him back it up, or stop spouting tripe.

If Clarke wants PL football it should be with us, in a year. Will be a shed load tougher to go up if we sell him.

Was just about to post similar. We can't afford them to meet our valuation the day before the season starts. If he's going to go, it needs to be done asap otherwise we don't sell to anyone this window
