They were going for as many runs as possible. Simple as that. It just happened that Bairstow was left stranded not out on 99.

I don’t understand that people STILL don’t get the premise of BazBall.

Re the declaration it was a hard one and I would have declared a bit earlier but the pitch is good and you would expect them to score 275.

I would love to bowl them out today but at least get 6 today and I feel, there will be enough time to get four over the next two days

dont underestimate the psychological damage that’s been inflicted in these three days to date

there are few Aussies running on fumes here already. They will do well to break 300

this is Englands game unless a monsoon descends
