CC : Derbyshire vs Durham

Our bin day is Wednesday. Alternate weeks for the main bin and recycling bin. Bin lorry always arrives at our house around 8am each week. We are one of the councils who have a separate charge for harden waste. As our garden is a small one we don't bother with this so we only have 2 bins emptied instead of 3.

I apologise if anyone is considering suicide while reading this.

No covers on the stream.

So good news for us to get some play shortly.

Thought they'd have already been out after early lunch?

We’re currently enduring another of those f*cking ridiculous occurrences where cricket umpires highlight the fact they have no brain. The players went off for rain at 12:40 and instead of taking an immediate Lunch so that we could resume at 13:20, they sat watching the rain for twenty minutes and THEN took Lunch. So play will resume at 13:40, despite the pitch being uncovered in perfect playing weather since about 13:10.

ah so you have to put bins out the night before i assume?

as a former postie i could put them out before work if need be, but i'm fortunate as ours aren't done till much later so i can have a leisurely morning then put them safe in the knowledge they'll not be along till the late morning/early afternoon

My 80 year old next door neighbour still insists on putting out our bin each week. She says it's the highlight of her week - well that and playing her Half Man Half Biscuit albums at full volume at all hours.
