Forthcoming gigs.

Anyone heading to Boiler Shop for The Beths on Wednesday?

I would love to be, especially as it would mean I'm discharged from hospital!

They are great.
Jowe Head and Dave Musker. I remember going up to Newcastle in about 1982 to see TVP only to find it was cancelled. 40 years later I can see them. Admittedly, it's not Dan Treacy but nonetheless it's not to be missed. Yet again Pop RECs plays a blinder.

The Streets are playing City Hall, 3 Nov.

I already have tickets for 2 gigs that night, both in Sunderland, but close enough to dodge back and forward!

Aye, and Calexico across the road! Will need to look at setlists and timings, FS seats are end of row!

Be just like a festival!
Not the Streets though! Just the other 2.

Thought you meant do the Streets as well. Would be a right waste of music time on the road.

Got tickets for Ash at NX on 7 October. Never been to venue since it was the Academy so interested to see what it's like now. Also same day as Boro game but that will get moved anyway

Went for Leftfield a few weeks ago. Didn’t really look around properly as I think the main changes have been made to upstairs. I was standing just off the front to the left & there was a new staircase going up there. Bar on the right hand side is still there but it was shite trying to get served.

Boro’s been changed to 8pm kick off on the Saturday night ;)

Aye did fancy Leftfield but couldn't make that one. Was always a rubbish place to get served, normally go to Bodega or Tilleys first and walk down.

As for Boro I'd put nothing past Sky! 😂😂 (though hopefully police will put blockers on that time)

As predicted, Who tickets for tomorrow are now being given away for a £7.50 admin fee. Up to 4 per order. (Rod was 2 max so they must have shitloads left).

@Longy

I was at this when they were at their absolute peak. Still firmly in place as one of my all-time top 3.

You must be proper ancient

Fair play you are still gigging regularly. I'm usually the oldest one at a fair few gigs I go to. (Don't look it, obviously)

Heading rapidly towards 68, but as you say.....

Feeling it atm though, after a week in hospital, which will hopefully end today or tomorrow - Pictish Trail and Kubix are looming.....
